I've embarked on the challenge of putting up a post each and every day for 31 days through the month of October. I'll be linking up my series with these lovely ladies. Each of us are writing about some aspect of change.
My topic?
I first thought of the title " 31 Days to Becoming a More Happy, Productive, & Balanced Home Manager - but I couldn't fit all that onto a graphic :) - and it is kind of a mouthful. I feel like 'Balance' pretty much covers it though...
While preparing workshops for my various speaking engagements this coming season, I've spent the last few months exploring various ways we women can better balance our limited time and energy.
If you live in any type of home structure and you are the dominant person that oversees what happens there, these tips will be for you. If you're juggling a LOT in your home, (regular home maintenance, nurturing a family, maybe even with a career in the mix) I'll be seeking to provide a few tools that I hope will enable you to better balance all that you NEED to do and still carve out the much needed time to pursue your own interests that contribute to your personal sense of self and happiness as well.
I have found that when I intentionally fulfill my own needs, I generate energy to meet the needs of my family and home. However, if I'm not careful, I can get somewhat lost in pursuit of my personal interests and the responsibilities in and around my home begin to fall on the back burner from time-to-time as well.
It's a very delicate dance, isn't it?
I'm still figuring it out, but I'd love to process what I've learned/observed so far with you.
Care to join me?
What would you like tips on to aid in your own pursuit of becoming a more Happy, Productive & Balanced Home Manager?
I'd love to address something that would encourage you right where you are.

Ooh boy ... I'll be back! As long as I can squeeeeeze it in! :) hee, hee...
ReplyDeleteBalance is definitely something I struggle with. You know how when a washing machine gets overloaded it starts doing the polka all over the laundry room--well that kind of describes my life perfectly.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that you're doing this! And I hear you on the "delicate dance". I have been learning a lot about that lately - finding balance really does benefit my kids :)
ReplyDeleteI am just jumping in on this, but I feel like the Lord led me to it at just the right time... I am learning to home school my 4yr old while her acting career is budding and my almost 2yr becomes his own individual and daily learning how to care for him. Then of course my husband who is so good to us, he inspires me to be better. The list goes on, I need BALANCE! Like yesterday... so count me in! Thank you!!!!!
